In many situations you can actually pre-qualify for a loan so that you know how large a firm you can buy.
Business Valuations:
One of the challenges for a seller is establishing a price for your firm. While we can provide some general guidelines, we often involve firms that specialize in business valuations so that we can get the most value for your firm.
CFO Outsourcing:
One of the challenges for a buyer is to prepare cash flows and other documentation, to obtain bank or investor financing and to make certain the first few months of post-closing integration go as smoothly as possible from a financial perspective. We can recommend a firm that specializes in increasing the value of businesses through improved cash flows. Services are available on a fractional CFO or project basis.
Exit Strategists:
Part of the planning process to exit your firm involves making decisions about family members, key employees and your dedicated staff. Considering topics such as what will happen to them, will I have enough money to live the lifestyle I want, will the new buyer be able to succeed, do I have to help finance the new buyer’s purchase, etc. requires some careful planning. We often recommend that a specialist be consulted in making these decisions.
